Age 90, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at Clarendale of Mokena.

Yvonne is survived by her loving family, children, Gary (Jill Strilich) Stephen, Darrell (Jennifer) Stephen, Darlene (Vincent) Bourke, grandchildren, Brett (Linda) Stephen, Jill (Jeremy) Bishop, Shannon (Tyler) Toft, great grandchildren, Thomas (Katie Krol) Sobczynski, Logan Stephen, Abby Doyle, Nathan Bishop, Addison Bishop and numerous nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Elsie Genens (Koenning), husband, Donald E. Stephen, daughter, Marlys Rae Stephen, siblings, Elvira (Robert) Niemann, Delmar Genens, Harriet Genens, Joyce Genens, Dale (Faye) Genens and Jean (Ervin) Hentsch.

Yvonne was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Frankfort and the Mokena VFW Woman’s Axillary. She was a huge and avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Family will receive friends at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 12 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, April 24th, 2023 from 9:30 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
